A little accident happened and your pillow is not looking the same?

Don't worry there is an easy fix.

This method works best on cotton pillowcases. If you have a wool or silk pillowcase, you should take it to the dry cleaner.

How to remove stains from a pillow

Remove the pillowcase.

Scrape off dry residue using a scraper but be gentle doing that

Turn the pillowcase over and rinse the back of the stain with cold water.

Turn the pillowcase over and blot (don't rub) the stain with a clean, dry towel.

Apply a drop of dish soap directly to the stain.

Use your fingers to lather the soap on the stain.

For particularly stubborn stains, take an old toothbrush and scrub the fabric in a circular motion.

Let the soap and water sit on the stain for up to 20 minutes.

Dab the soapy water with a damp cloth and rinse with hot water.

Cover the stain with a stain remover and throw the pillowcase in the washing machine.

Dry it out and use again.
