Wipe the outside of the washing machine with a microfiber cloth and all-purpose cleaner.

Behind the washing machine you will always find all sorts of stuff. If you are strong enough or have someone to help you, move the washing machine away from the wall and clean everything behind it.

Examine the water supply rubber hoses for cracks or wear. If you find any damage, consider replacing them to prevent water leakage and water damage.

How to clean the inside of a washing machine

Remove any parts that you can bring to the sink for cleaning, such as: dispenser tray

The easiest way to clean a washing machine is to use a washing machine tablet. Remove everything from the washer and throw 1 tablet directly into it (DO NOT PLACE IT IN THE DISPENSER TRAY). If your washer has the "Clean Washer" cycle, select it and let it run. For washers without the "Clean Washer" cycle, select the normal or heavy cycle with hot water setting.

Don't forget to clean the smaller parts. If you can't take dispenser tray, fill it with vinegar and let it soak while you clean other areas of the machine. If your front loading washer has a rubber seal, wipe it clean with a cloth soaked in vinegar.
