How to clean a sink.

In a week, your kitchen sink gets a lot of use, so your dish disposal doesn't always smell like roses. If your kitchen drain isn't cleaned properly or frequently enough, the natural accumulation of old food and filth can spread throughout your home.

In most cases a simple dish soap will be enough to clean your sink properly. In really bad cases you can use an oven cleaner to get the job done.

Put some dish soap or oven cleaner on your sponge and rub the sink until it is clean. Afterwards rinse everything with hot water to leave it all shiny.

For a more homemade method you can use baking soda and a sponge.

Regularly cleaning the sink with baking soda (which only takes a few seconds) can prevent odors from building up from bacteria left over from food debris.
