First of all you are going to need to defrost your refrigerator.

Unplug the refrigerator and take everything out. Take out every compartment and give them a bath in a water with dish soap scrubbing everything off.

Spray the inside of the refrigerator with a dish soap and later scrub off any dirt or stains with a sponge. A dish soap will also get rid of any bad odor there might be after some spoiled food. When done use a micro fiber cloth to dry out the refrigerator.

Alternatively soak a sponge in baking soda solution and scrub everything off.

Leaving an open pack of baking soda on the refrigerated shelf is good at combating food odors too. Each pack is sufficient for about two months.

Use a vacuum cleaner attachment and long handled brush behind the refrigerator to clean up any dust that built up.
