How to clean a flat-screen TV.

First, make sure the screen is off. Not only is this safer for the electronics, but the dirty spots are much easier to see when the screen is dark.

Use a duster to gently remove any debris from the screen, top of the TV, and any other nook or cranny where dust may have accumulated.

Gently wipe the screen with a dry, soft cloth. Use a lint-free microfiber cloth to clean your TV. Don't try too hard to remove any stains from the screen as you can break it that way.

The best solution to clean any screen is a screen cleaner. Spray the screen with the cleaning solution and use a cloth to make sure everything is shiny.

You can also clean it by making a homemade cleaning solution by mixing equal parts water and vinegar in an empty spray bottle.

Moisten the cloth in the cleaning solution so that it is just damp but not wet. Wipe the screen with the cloth and let the solution do the job of cleaning up extra dirty areas so you don't have to press the screen.

Wipe the screen one last time with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any excess cleaning solution.
