How to clean a coffee maker.

Hard water minerals can build up in the inner workings of your machine over time, causing your coffee to take longer to brew.

You'll need to clean and decalcify the machine to bring it back to good condition.

The only detergent that is needed is powder dishwashing detergent. Pour the detergent in the pot and just run hot water through the machine. Leave the hot water in the jug for an hour and then just pour it out in the sink. Rinse the jug several times with water to remove any residue of the detergent.
