How to clean a bathtub.

Fill a bucket with hot water and pour the water over the entire tub. Sprinkle baking soda on all of the tub surfaces.

Fill your bucket with half a gallon of hot water and two tablespoons of dish soap. Dip a sponge or stiff nylon brush into the bucket and scrub all surfaces of the bathtub. Use the bucket to regularly rinse out the sponge or brush.

If you're cleaning particularly dirty tubs or stains, sprinkle baking soda right on the sponge or brush after soaking it in the bucket solution and scrub vigorously. When you're satisfied and the tub looks clean, rinse the tub out with the water. Finally, clean the tub faucet, drain, and handles with a dry cloth.

Mold in the tub

If you have mold or mildew in your tub, start cleaning the tub by filling a spray bottle with hot water and four tablespoons of bleach. Spray this solution on the affected areas and let it sit. While the bleach soaks in, sprinkle baking soda into the tub. Scrub all bathtub surfaces with a scrub sponge or a stiff nylon brush.
